The hotel is comfortable and offers good facilities, making it a pleasant place to stay. The rooms are clean and well maintained, and they include a microwave oven and a fridge, which makes it convenient to bring food from outside and eat in the room. However, the rooms do not have an electric kettle for hot water, body lotion is not provided in the bathroom, and the water pressure in the taps is extremely low. The staff are friendly and helpful, which adds to the overall positive experience. There are a few limitations to be aware of regarding dining options. The hotel restaurant closes at 10:00 PM, and there is no bar or dining option available late in the evening. If you need snacks or drinks after that time, you will need to go out, although there are no good options nearby. In addition, room service is not available. Overall, it is a good place to stay, especially if you plan to have an early dinner and drinks or prefer to dine outside.

Two day stay and everything was great! Chloe and Rick at check-in made the initial visit superb! They were friendly, helpful and very cheerful, and this started the stay off on the right foot for us. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

It's so beautiful and cozy. They have hot chocolate waiting for you at the desk, popcorn machine making fresh popcorn but definitely get yours before the kids with nasty hands dig in there. It's not supervised. The blueberry lemon pancakes are a must have. Water pressure is low in the bathroom but its a nice room

Every worker here was incredibly nice and welcoming! The front desk staff were exceptionally welcoming and warm as was the bar staff. The rooms looked updated and they were clean. The bathroom was spacious. The lobby area was lacking. I'd guess most stay here for work or for a short visits. This isn't a place to hang out. It's better for a comfy stay and sleep to get yourself around town. Breakfast was meh. But it was nice to have an on-site Starbucks on site.

We had such a wonderful stay here! The location was perfect , so close to everything we wanted to see and do. The staff were absolutely amazing , kind, welcoming, and so accommodating, especially for my fiancé’s birthday. They went above and beyond to make it feel special, and the thoughtful snacks and personal touches meant so much to us. A special shout-out to JJ and Alex, who always greeted us with a smile and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay ; you two truly made our experience even better! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and everything felt effortless from start to finish. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a stay that’s both comfortable and full of heart.

I stayed at this hotel for my birthday weekend, the hotel and staff were amazing. Rooms were also clean and beds comfortable. But I been trying to get a hold of a general manager there because I was trying to see if an incident that happened to my car was done there. I’ve left 3 messages on the general manager’s voicemail and no response yet. And when I asked for corporate number they say there isn’t a corporate number. It’s now been about 2weeks now and still nothing from anyone.

Love this Courtyard, conveniently located next to a big mall with lots of food and entertainment options. Not too far from the Fashion Valley mall (10/10) also not too far from downtown, Little Italy, and other things. Hotel circle is a great place to stay in San Diego in general. Can be pricey but with this hotel you know you're getting what you paid for and those Marriott standards, safety, kind staff, cleanliness, fresh sheets and comfy pillows. Check in staff is very kind and quick to help when we lost our room keys. Overall highly recommend.

Stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott - San Diego Mission Valley for 9 days and would highly recommend to everyone! Front desk staff are so friendly and welcoming. We were greeted every time we entered the hotel and they were such a big help with an issue we encountered (not their fault) but they did everything to make it right. The hotel has an ample amount of parking and felt very safe with a gated entry/exit. I’ve seen some negative reviews on the price of parking but being from Hawai’i, that’s nothing new and almost every hotel in SD charges for parking. To add to the safety topic — you need your room key to go up or down in the elevator. I love that security measure. The rooms are very clean and up to date. Property has laundry facilities and the front desk can provide quarters ($5.00 to wash and dry). There’s a hotel bistro and bar (limited hours) that has decent food and isn’t overpriced, also a little snack shop with drinks, salads, wraps, sandwiches, some toiletries and a Starbucks machine that makes coffee, hot water and cocoa. Conveniently located off the freeway but the noise is NOT a problem, we didn’t hear anything. 10 minutes to most San Diego attractions. Also 5 minutes away from Target, lots of dining options, Mission Valley and Fashion Valley Mall. Definitely staying here again!
